Buying an asset shouldn’t feel like a guess

Are you tired of…

A man holding a phone with a trading application open

Apps that show you a price, but never the rule

Every listing, every app

  • Price shown
  • Rule hidden
A close-up phone interface showing a detailed cryptocurrency portfolio

Tokens that look identical in your wallet

One ticker, twelve versions

  • Looks identical
  • Different claims
A red financial market chart showing a sharp decline and risk area

Finding out at redemption, not at purchase

From purchase to exit

  • Clear at purchase
  • Gated at exit

So people buy the version they were never allowed to hold, and only find out when they try to get out.

The Vestail process

Three clear steps take you from “can I own this?” to a place where you can buy it.

Explore the board
01

Say who you are

Pick your country and whether you're a citizen or a foreigner there. You declare it; Vestail never asks for ID.

02

Search anything

A company, a coin, “a house”, “farmland”, “gold”. Vestail works out what kind of asset it is and shows you how it got there.

03

See the verdict, then buy

Every country answers in one of three verdicts. Where you're allowed, Vestail takes you straight to a place to buy.

Not yes or no. The middle is where people get hurt.

A two-state answer has to lie about the large middle: assets anyone can buy but can't redeem, collect on or sell without clearing a gate. Vestail gives it its own name.

Can own

The rules permit someone like you to hold it, with no further gate.

What Vestail does
Shows you where to buy it.

Conditional

Allowed, but behind a licence, cap, approval or KYC check, often one you only meet at exit.

What Vestail does
Names the condition, and asks you to acknowledge it before you buy.

Cannot own

The rules exclude someone like you from holding it.

What Vestail does
Never routes it. Not even a quote.

Find it, check it, buy it, without leaving Vestail.

Vestail is becoming the place you buy what you're allowed to own: from onchain assets in your own wallet to carefully selected offchain partners.

An answer is only as good as where it comes from.

Clear rules, visible sources and incentives that never change the answer.

Read common questions

Sourced rules

Every rule carries the documents it rests on and the date it was last checked.

Neutral by rule

Money never changes a verdict or the order of venues. We say who pays us.

You declare, we disclose

No ID checks and no blocking. Vestail shows you the rules; the choice stays yours.

Rules change; so do we

When a regulator moves, the rule is rechecked and its date updated, so you can see how fresh an answer is.

Legal guidanceUnderstand what Vestail’s answers do—and do not—replace.

No. Vestail shows what the rules say for the country and buyer type you declare, with sources, so you can decide. For a big or unusual purchase, check with a professional in that country.

Rule sourcesSee where verdicts come from and how freshness is shown.

From statutes, regulator guidance and issuer terms. Each rule lists its sources and the date it was last verified. During this preview the rules are illustrative and not yet sourced; don't rely on them.

Custody and moneyLearn when assets stay in your wallet or with a licensed partner.

Not for onchain purchases: you buy from your own wallet and the asset settles there. Offchain purchases will go through licensed partners, who hold your assets under their own regulation.

Restricted assetsWhy Vestail stops routes for assets you cannot own.

Because the rules exclude someone in your position from holding it, and selling it to you anyway is exactly what Vestail exists to prevent. Change your country or buyer type only if it's genuinely true for you.

Pricing and incentivesHow Vestail earns money without changing a verdict.

A small fee on purchases made in Vestail, and referral fees from some venues. Neither ever changes a verdict or which venue we show first.

CoverageReview supported countries, buyer types and asset classes.
